Bone's replacement ?

So far only one name has emerged, last week Robertson made an inquiry about 26 year old Brian Crawford of Stranraer.

With no Bone, Elgin are left with Martin Harty, Willie Martin and Phil Reid to play up front and Robertson would like another option.

At the start of the season there was talk of Chris Ogboke returning from Australia to play for the club once his season was finished and of Trinidadian Kevin Jeffrey joining City from American side Richmond Kickers but as of yet, neither have materialised.

Robertson said "We play East Fife this weekend, but, after that, we have a two-week break because of the international matches, so it is not a big concern for us just now. Besides, Philip Reid is on his way back from injury. He gives us another avenue to go down.

"We will take our time to make sure we get the right kind of player, as there would be no point in signing someone for the sake of it. There is a budget we have to work with and, because of that, we will take plenty of time before we make our choice."
