Elgin V Berwick at Borough Briggs - Match Preview

Duo out for City

Elgin will be without Cieran McLean and Darryl McHardy for the game against Berwick as they were given custodial sentences on Thursday following a road traffic accident.

Paul Millar is missing through a knee injury, while Paul Harkins, Graeme Beveridge and Brian Cameron are all rated as injury doubts by manager Ross Jack.

The Borough Briggs boss said: "We have done well in our last couple of games and are showing signs that we can put in a promotion push despite a disappointing run.

"We were two goals down against Queen's Park last week and came back to win 3-2 and hopefully we can build on that."

Berwick miss Dougie Brydon who continues to be troubled by a pelvic injury.

Scott Dalziel is in line for recall after impressing as a substitute in the 3-1 defeat to Stirling in midweek, with manager Ian Little looking for his men to turn positive performances into points.

Little said: "We are playing well, really well, but not making the most of the opportunities we create. That then leaves you exposed to a mistake at the back, and if one happens you find yourself a goal down in a game you should be winning.
