Elgin V Stirling at Borough Briggs - Match Preview

Captain missing for Elgin

Elgin miss suspended skipper David Niven against visitors Stirling Albion.

Paul Millar is absent due to a knee problem while a groin injury keeps Mark Nicolson out.

"Stirling have had a good 2013 where they have lost very few games and are now unbeaten away from home for six months so this will be a tough afternoon for us," boss Ross Jack said.

"We are beginning to look more like the side we are capable of being and have been unbeaten in our last four games. Once we start turning draws into wins we will start climbing the table."

Stirling look set to be without defender Jamie Clark as they head to Borough Briggs due to illness, however manager Greig McDonald can call on the fit-again duo of David McClune and Dale Fulton.

Goalkeeper Callum Reidford has returned to the club on a short term deal and is included.

"Elgin are always a strong team on their own patch and they are starting to build momentum after a few games undefeated," McDonald said.

"We played well at Berwick last weekend and would have left there with a win however a late goal cost us the full three points. Hopefully we can make up for that at Elgin."
