Bone Gone

Bone, who reportedly failed to turn up for the team bus to play against East Stirlingshire, has signed for Highland League side Clachnacuddin to join a host of other ex-City players including Davie Ross and Iain Polworth.

Robbie Williamson "Obviously I am absolutely delighted that Alex has decided to come and join Clach. He has been proven goalscorer wherever he has been over the years, whatever division he has played he has scored goals and guys like him are not easy to come by.

All credit to Alec, I have known him a long time and he promised me he would play for me one day and this is probably a year sooner than I expected. Even though other clubs were interested he was true to his word and it is a massive signing for Clachnacuddin.

We have come to an agreement with Alec Bone who personally agreed things with Elgin and he has signed a three year contract. He has been training with us this week and has been looking sharp so he will definitely be in the squad for tomorrow. The whole place has been given a lift by the fact that we can attract someone like Alec Bone to Grant St."
