Cove Chase Ogboke

After losing Mike Beattie in the Summer, former Montrose boss John Sheran is hoping to add Ogboke to his squad as well as Peterhead striker Martin Johnston, who has already agreed terms with the Highland League side.

Under new regulations, teams are now allowed two wild card transfers after the transfer window has closed.

Sheran said: "We didn't manage to bring in everybody we would have liked before the transfer window closed so are continuing to look to improve the squad.

"The players we have should be complimented for their achievements so far, but we are an ambitious club and we are always looking to improve."

Ogboke has spent the Summer playing in Australia for Victorian side Shepperton United and is yet to return but with Alex Bone's Elgin City career looking uncertain, Robertson may be unwilling to let another goalscorer leave the club.
