Moray Select: who we are

The select were brought together by Elgin City to play in the Scottish Cup and to try to develop young footballers into future Elgin players. All kit is supplied by Elgin City as is transport to away fixtures.

We train every week at either Borough Briggs or Morriston playing fields for 1 ½ hours a week. We have played several games for which results and match reports can be found within the youth news section.

The Moray select is coached by local school coaches, one from the A league and one from the B league. This ensures all school players from Moray are being watched for future selection. Both coaches have been on the early touches training course and have been cleared by the Scottish criminal records office to work with children.
