East Fife go top after toppling ElginEast Fife replaced Elgin at the Ladbrokes Scottish League Two summit following a 3-1 victory at Borough Briggs.The visitors made the ideal start by taking a sixth-minute lead when Nathan Austin latched on to Gary Naysmith's through ball before slotting low past Elgin goalkeeper Mark Hurst.The Fifers were pegged back in the 22nd minute when Dylan Easton followed up the rebound after Craig Gunn headed against the post from a corner.However, East Fife went ahead again two minutes later, Austin again to the fore by running through on goal, rounding Hurst and tapping into an empty net.Shortly after the interval, Elgin striker Craig Gunn hit the bar from close range and it proved a costly miss as Kevin Smith deflected Scott Mercer's driven shot into the net in the 76th minute
