Depleted Elgin snatch late point
Sean Crighton earned 10-man Elgin a point in a 3-3 thriller with Montrose.
Montrose striker Bryan Deasley opened the scoring in the 19th minute with a steered shot into the roof of the net.
Elgin hit back either side of the hour mark. David Niven stroked the ball home before Ross McKinnon's right-footed effort gave the hosts the lead.
Montrose were right back in it just seconds later when Niven was shown a straight red. They took full advantage with a quick one-two of their own. Lloyd Young drilled home and Deasley scored his second from close range to put Montrose in control.
But the depleted home side kept fighting and salvaged a draw 10 minutes from time courtesy of Crighton's right-footed strike.
