Elgin 4-0 Stirling- Match Report

Elgin ease to emphatic win

Craig Gunn's brace helped Elgin to their second league win of the season with a thumping 4-0 victory over Stirling.

Two goals either side of half-time ensured the Black and Whites took the points and extended their unbeaten run to five matches.

The hosts, who had drawn their last two matches 3-3, took just 20 minutes to get off the mark as Shane Sutherland grabbed his first league goal of the season with a powerful effort from the right side of the area.

Gunn doubled their lead two minutes before the break, tapping in after good work from Dennis Wyness.

The points were all but wrapped up when he added his second three minutes into the second half, slotting into the corner from 12 yards out.

Brian Cameron added the fourth late on with a neat finish from the edge of the box.
