Elgin City 1-3 East Stirlingshire

After a goalless first half, in which both sides hit the post, Elgin went ahead early in the second.

Iain Vigurs floated a ball forwards that was only partially cleared by the 'Shire defence. Martin Harty headed the ball back into the box and Willie Martin acrobatically volleyed into the net.

The lead didn't look safe as East Stirling dominated the majority of the game.
The equaliser came in the 66th minute when Ciaith Thywisson headed Scott Livingstone's left wing cross into the back of the net. Thywisson scored the second soon afterwards when he capitalised on a mix up between Andy Roddie and Keiron Renton before putting the ball in the empty net.

The rout was completed in the 77th minute when East Stirlingshire grabbed a third in dramatic fashion as former Dumbarton midfielder Joe Robertson scored with a curling effort from twenty yards.

City had a late chance to grab a consolation goal but Paul Kaczan put Paul Napier's cross into the side netting.
